Netflix Gets Bigger; THE LONE RANGER Stars Take Paycuts

Netflix just keeps on getting bigger. After making the smart move of not doing their Qwikster idea, Netflix has added more shows to their catalog. Netflix, Warner Bros. Television Group, and CBS Corporation have signed a four-year deal that will allow Netflix to stream The CW's current series and future shows to Netflix as well as some of CBS' series. This will include shows such as Ringer, The Secret Circle, The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Supernatural, and One Tree Hill.

The previous seasons of The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, and One Tree Hill will be available October 15th. Supernatural won't be streamed until January 2012, and all episodes of shows that air on The CW this season will be made available in the fall of 2012. After the break,  gigantic paycuts are made so that The Lone Ranger will happen.

Casting news for BLOOD; Possible Lead for PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, AND ZOMBIES; THE LONE RANGER Is Back To Life

Several things. Let's start off with Nick Murphy's film Blood. I've never heard of the guy, never heard of any movie he's done, but he'll be put on the spot with the cast he's bringing together for his newest film. He's managed to get Paul Bettany, Brian Cox, and Stephen Graham to star. This, my friends, is impressive. I've always been a huge fan of Bettany ever since I first saw him in A Knights Tale. Brian Cox is one of the best actors I've seen and is able to fill in any role, from being a chief of highway patrol to being the worst enemy of Wolverine. And then there's Stephen Graham, who should be much more known by now but people seem to forget about him. Most people have recently discovered him due to the popular TV series Boardwalk Empire, but he's been in fantastic movies such as Snatch. and Gangs of New York. All in all, this seems to be a fantastic start to the movie. The basic plot for the film centers on “two policemen who kill a murder suspect and are then plunged into chaos when they are forced to investigate their own crime.”

After the break, I'll give you the news on the other headlines.
