Last Friday I decided to head into Manhattan to see if I could find where the shooting for The Dark Knight Rises was taking place. I failed. My friend and I checked every gorram location and they were no where to be found. Assholes. But. Doesn't mean they didn't shoot. Since they did. Somewhere. I don't know where exactly. But they did. Anywho. Check out some of the images after the break. If you truly don't want to know a single thing that's going on, there may be some spoilers for you. But to me, they're fun to look at, and I'm excited. The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20, 2012 and stars many, many people.

Several Pieces of News Involving TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY and THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

First, we'll start off with Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, the thriller starring Gary Oldman and directed by Tomas Alfredson. In an interview with The Guardian, Gary Oldman tells them,

"I loved playing George and there are of course films to be made of John Le Carré’s other books featuring George, with Smiley’s People and The Honourable Schoolboy being the obvious ones. But I would insist on quite a few factors, such as I would really want Tomas Alfredson to direct it again.

There you have it. If StudioCanal is wise, and I'm sure they are, they won't pass up on the opportunity to create a franchise when you have a lead actor such as Gary Oldman, who's getting rave reviews in the film and Oscar consideration already.
