If you've been online over the past few months, you should know that The Muppets is pretty much gunna be the most fantastic movie. Ever. Their marketing has been fantastic, parodying trailers of movies that we're all aware of. Well, this is their last hurrah. This trailer, while showing no new footage, at all, parodies four more movies: Paranormal Activity, Puss In Boots, Happy Feet, and, well, I'll keep the last one a surprise. Check out the trailer after the break to see what it is. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

First Images for Tim Burton's FRANKENWEENIE
Tim Burton has one of the most interesting minds in the movie business, there's no denying that. Lately though, it feels like he just hasn't been trying, and this formula of Wackyness + Johnny Depp + Helena Bonham Carter + Danny Elfman just isn't working that much for me anymore. Enter Frankenweenie. One of his original shorts, Frankenweenie is about a boy who loves his dog so much that he decides to try and bring his dog back to life Frankenstein style. Hit the jump for more details.
It's Official: SHAME rated NC-17
Not exactly a surprise to anyone, but Steve McQueen's dark, erotic drama Shame has been given an NC-17 rating. This was expected with the amount of nudity and sex that takes place in the film. Starring Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan, Fassbenders plays a a successful single New Yorker who is a compulsive sex addict. Yeah...sounds like a fun movie for every family. But, even with all of the controversy, the film has gotten rave reviews at numerous film festivals, and Fassbender is getting plenty of talk for the Best Actor nomination. The film will be released December 2nd, I recommend you all check it out. If you're over 17 of course.

Matt Damon Talks About His Directorial Debut
Not a gigantic article here, but some good stuff to know. According to Matt Damon, the film is nothing like Erin Brockovich. As Damon says,
“Nobody gets poisoned,” says Damon, who plans to direct the untitled film early next year. “I don’t know where that came from.”So now that that's taken care of, what else have we got? Well. Nothing. Just this little bit of news. Which to me is enough to keep me excited.

JOSS WHEDON'S SECRET SHAKESPEARE PROJECT!!!!
I don't truly understand how the man does it, but while filming and completing The Avengers, Joss Whedon had enough time to film and complete a production of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. If there's any play that I could see Joss having fun with, it would most certainly be this one. GAH! This is just. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW HE KEPT THIS A SECRET FOR SO LONG! THE CAST IS INCREDIBLY! New Feature!!
So I've decided to start something new on the blog. I'm sure that they're are a decent amount of people who know about the website onlocationvacations. Well, for those who don't, it tells where films and TV shows are shooting, that way people can maybe get the chance to meet some of their favorite actors, or get rejected by them and hate themselves forever knowing they weren't good enough for their favorite actor. Either way, this will begin tomorrow since I have a decent amount of stuff to do today!

Matt Damon To Direct ERIN BROCKOVICH-Type Project Based Off Idea From John Krasinski and Dave Eggers
Holy mother of Zeus I just got extremely excited. Matt Damon is one of my favorite actors and have been waiting to see what he's been interested in directing for some time. But this is beyond anything...ANYTHING...I could have imagined. The idea is one that actor John Krasinski came up with and worked out with author Dave Eggers (Away We Go, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius). Krasinski and Eggers worked together on Away We Go, which was a fantastically written film. There's more details on this project after the jump.

First Trailer for the Behind-The-Scenes Documentary WHEN HARRY LEFT HOGWARTS
As everyone on this planet knows, the Harry Potter film franchise is by the far the most popular and most successful franchise in all of cinema history. It may not be the best, but when you have a world that's created 7 books and 8 films in a span of around 10 years, well, nothing can really compete with that. While people will always be unhappy with the portrayal of each novel put into a film, there's no denying that each film can stand on it's own as a fantastic piece of art. The film will be released on blu-ray next month, and included with the film is a 48 minute behind-the-scenes documentary covering the filming of The Deathly Hallows Parts 1 & 2. Hit the break for more information and the trailer.
New Trailer for THE WOMAN IN BLACK Along With A New Motion Poster
Seems like today is a big day for new trailers. First Sherlock Holmes, and now the new horror film The Woman In Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe, has a new trailer. The trailer doesn't show that much, but from what I've seen, it looks fucking terrifying. The story centers on a young lawyer who travels to a remote village where he discovers the vengeful ghost of a scorner woman terrorizing the locals. I'm sure the movie has plenty more scares up it's sleeve, since from what's shown so far, this should be a pretty solid film and definitely a good opportunity for Daniel Radcliffe to truly break into his own. Also, there's a new motion poster included, which, at first glance looks harmless. When it moves, just, you'll see for yourself.
The film stars Daniel Radcliffe and Ciarán Hinds, and will be released February 3, 2012. Check the trailer and poster after the break.
New Trailer for SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS
The second trailer has been released for Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows, and if this is any indication of what the whole film will be like, then I'm excited. I absolutely loved the first film and have been eagerly waiting to see this one. Sherlock Holmes had a great blend of action, humor, romance, and just all out fun. Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. had such great chemistry that I have trouble thinking of another pair of characters who played off each other so well. This trailer may not exactly go much into the plot, but the action sequences are just masterful, which is something expect with a Guy Ritchie film. Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows stars Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes, Jude Law as Watson, and brings in Noomi Rapace and Jared Harris as Professor Moriarty. The film will open December 16, 2011. Check out the trailer after the break.

THE AVENGERS 2 Already In The Planning Process
Did you really think that Marvel would stop with The Avengers? If you did, then you must be some sorta special type of stupid. I'm sure you all expected it, but Iron Man 3 is a part of what Kevin Feige calls "Phase Two of this Avengers Assemble talk." SWAT Team Raids Set of World War Z; News on Alexander Payne's Newest Film
I've seen and heard about a lot of weird shit that's happened in the production of the film. But this is something that even baffles me. On Monday, a SWAT team raided a warehouse in Budapest that was holding weapons that were being used as props in his upcoming movie World War Z. Sources tell Us Weekly that Brad Pitt, both the star and a producer for the film, "is furious." The police seized 85 fully-functional weapons, majority of them being automatic, military-style assault rifles. The guns came with paper claiming that they were non-functional. This paperwork was wrong. The guns are actually in working order, which is an extremely huge issue. The film is already over budget and over schedule, so this whole delay certainly does not help the film being released on time. The film is set to be released December 21st, 2012.

It's Here...The Avengers Trailer
After months of waiting, the trailer for The Avengers has arrived. And I gotta say, it looks fucking fantastic. The action is there, the heroes look badass, and it seems that it'll be pretty damn funny. Knowing that each Avenger will have their personal moment to shine at some point in the film, it seems that the biggest one will be Tony Stark. The trailer shows us, primarily, his funny lines, and shows him at his most serious, and ends on him flying in the air. Needless to say, I'm excited. And you should be too.
The Avengers is starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, and Cobie Smulders. It'll be released May 4th, 2012. Check out the trailer after the break.

My Apologies.
I am aware that the last time I posted was last Sunday. It's unacceptable, and I take full responsibility. Stupid school work has been taking up all my time, and it doesn't really get much easier, but I'm gunna try to do at least one story a day, except for today. Today I'll swamp up your time with all of the news that I've missed. At least the relevant news to me. I'll do that in a while, but for now, I'm sorry.

ARGO Release Date; Steve Carells next Film, and Much More That I'm Stuffing In Here
I was trying to balance out the amount of news I wanted to post so it didn't seem like I was overwhelming the very few people who may actually read this, but now I'm becoming overwhelmed. So, I'm looking at my own sanity here and I'm deciding to post a ton of news right here.
- A release date has been set for Ben Affleck's political thriller Argo. The date is set for September 14, 2012. Now this is important for several different reasons. For one, the summer of 2012 is including releases of movies such as The Dark Knight Rises, Total Recall, and The Amazing Spider-man. Needless to say, I doubt WB wants to release Argo against any of those. Also, what happens in 2012? The next election. This movie may get a bit more buzz for this reason alone, and I have to admit, I'm excited. Along with Ben Affleck, also starring is Alan Arkin, John Goodman, and Bryan Cranston.
