First Synopsis' for Both SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS and ONLY GOD FORGIVES

Martin McDonagh's In Bruges is a fantastic, underrated film that no one seems to know. It's sad really, but with having seen In Bruges, I'm extremely excited to see his next film Seven Psychopaths. The film is starring Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken, and Mickey Rourke. If you've seen In Bruges, you know then that it was a brutally funny black comedy, which makes me pumped for this film, considering the cast is just fantastic. Here's the premise for Seven Psychopaths:
From Oscar-winning writer and director Martin McDonagh comes a star-studded, blood-drenched, black comedy. Marty (Colin Farrell) is a struggling writer who dreams of finishing his screenplay Seven Psychopaths. All he needs is a little focus and inspiration.
Billy (Sam Rockwell) is Marty’s best friend, an unemployed actor and part time dog thief, who wants to help Marty by any means necessary.
Hans (Christopher Walken) is Billy’s partner in crime. A religious man with a violent past. Charlie is the psychopathetic gangster whose beloved dog, Billy and Hans have just stolen. Charlie’s unpredictable, extremely violent and wouldn’t think twice about killing anyone or anything associated with the theft. Marty is going to get all the focus and inspiration he needs, just as long as he lives to tell the tale.
Hit the jump for information on  Nicolas Winding Refn's next film Only God Forgives.

Nicolas Winding Refn is a director to keep an eye on. After watching Bronson, Valhalla Rising, and Drive for a class of mine, it's safe to say that he is one of the riskiest and most violent directors I've had the chance to watch. And this is one of the reasons why he's slowly becoming one of my favorites. Only God Forgives seems like it'll be right on par with these films. Before this one though, Refn re-teamed with Gosling for the remake of Logan's Run, which I don't know all that much about at the moment. But focuses on Only God Forgives, here's the official logline of the movie:
Only God Forgives is a fast, powerful, high-profile, action and violent revenge story with Ryan Gosling and Kristin Scott Thomas, never seen before, as a merciless and terrifying mafia godmother.
Oh. I forgot to mention that this movie also stars Ryan Gosling. Silly me. Also starring in the film is Luke Evans, and Refn is reteaming with Bronson cinematographer Larry Smith and editor Matthew Newman. Here's the official synopsis for Only God Forgives:

Julian, an Englishman living in Bangkok, is a respected figure in the criminal underworld.  He and his brother Billy run a Thai boxing club which is in fact a front for smuggling drugs to London.  When Billy is murdered, their mother Jenna arrives from London to bring back the body.  Jenna is herself the head of a powerful criminal organization and is used to getting exactly what she wants.  She sets out to settle the score along a bloody path of rage, betrayal, and vengeance, hurtling toward an ultimate confrontation and the possibility of redemption.
