New Trailers for THE MUPPETS and THIS MEANS WAR; Release Date for THE GREAT GATSBY

The Muppets is going to be amazing. All the parody trailers, the incredible cast, there's really nothing else I have to say. The newest trailer that's been released focuses on the actual plot of the story, and it's still just fantastic. I won't say anything else. Here it is.

After the break, another trailer, and the release date of The Great Gatsby.
First hearing about This Means War, I thought it sounded slightly silly with a fantastic cast. Now watching the trailer, the slightly silly is still there, and there's a shit ton of action sequences. Tom Hardy and Chris Pine play best friends who are both CIA agents until a girl (Reese Witherspoon) gets in the middle of them. When they find out they're dating the same person, well, shit hits the fan. They attempt to ruin each other lives with their CIA connections and weapons and all that fun shit. Now, while this whole idea of using your training to make your friends date go badly seems just plain silly, but if the trailer means anything, this could be a fun movie. Romantic comedies aren't always my cup of tea, but add in Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, and, well, I'm sold.

And now, The Great Gatsby. Not huge news, just a release date. You all know the basic plot. I'm not getting into it. You went to high school. The movie will be released on Christmas of next year. What's a better Christmas present then one of the best novels put on screen for you to watch? The film is directed by Baz Luhrmann and stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby. The only other film being released on this day --Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained -- is another film starring Leo. So it seems that if you really want Leo for Christmas, he's there for the taking.
