New Addition to Neighborhood Watch; Multiple Cameos in The Expendables 2; Star Trek 2 News

As I posted earlier, Neighborhood Watch has a fabulous comedic cast. Now joining it will be Richard Ayoade (Submarine). Ayoade's directorial and writing debut Submarine was a hit and proved that he could be a positive addition to any cast, so his inclusion to this film gets me pretty excited. It'll also be good for him since it'll get him more exposure and we can all truly celebrate his brilliantness.

The news I'm really excited about now: The Expendables 2. Yeah it'll probably be a clone copy of the first one. What makes this one different already is that both Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme have been given roles in the film. In an interview with EW, Stallone confirms that
“We’ll have a big showdown between me and Van Damme, which has been anticipated for a long time, so it should be a good one.”
Another two possibilities for the film that's going around are Nicholas Cage and John Travolta. With the way this film looks to be going, I will gladly see this.

And for anyone who was wondering if J.J. Abrams would be coming back to direct the Star Trek sequel, you can finally exhale. As reported by Vulture, J.J. Abrams is officially directing Star Trek 2. Pre-production for the film is underway, the script should be done sometime soon, and shooting for the film shall begin during the winter time. I loved what Abrams did with the revival of Star Trek, and now with him coming back, I can say that I'm confident that this will be just as good, if not better.
