THR reports that The Three Stooges, directed by The Farrelly Brothers, will be released April 4, 2012. The basic plot of the movie will be split into three pieces that follow Mo, Larry and Curly as they try to save their childhood home, but then somehow get involved in a murder plot and in a modern day twist, will end up being the stars of a reality TV show.
...What? I had a bit of hope for this movie at first but after reading what it'll be about, I think this will end up being a disaster. If it ends up being a good movie, then good for The Farrelly Brothers and everyone involved. I just wouldn't get my hopes up that high.
Sean Hayes will star as Larry, Will Sasso as Curly, and Chris Diamantopoulos rounds out the trio as Mo. Jane Lynch, Jennifer Hudson, Sophia Vergara, and Larry David are also set to star.
